A really cool ceramics studio, or center, I don't know what to call it! A huge ceramics studio. You can make something yourself. The ceramicists and people working here are amazing! It was a pleasure to chat and learn a lot. We also made our own clay crafts, and since we had to leave for Riga the next day, they suggested we wait a week for everything to dry, then they'd glaze it with our choice, and then mail it to us in Riga! But in the end, a friend from Daugavpils brought our works by car. Thank you so much for the experience! I recommend this center to everyone!
Amazing. Every Thursday they have “open sessions” from 16-18 (4-6pm) It cost 12 Euros, as far as I know kids cost 8 Euros. I made these 5 items. I was free to make anything I wished, and clearly with as much clay as I wished. If I saw one of the plates I made in a store I would’ve bought it for 20 Euros easily, but I made 5 things I love and only paid 12 Euro! Amazing experience and amazing products. I picked up the items I made two weeks after I made them. They never asked what color I would like the items to be. Clearly I made leaves, so it was clear I wanted them to be green. But if you want your work to be a specific color, you should ask! I’m extremely pleased and I’m sure I will go back a number of times.
