Excellent notary. I recommend him.
A very friendly secretary, a professional notary assistant. I called from abroad and asked her to prepare a power of attorney for a relative so that I could simply show up and sign it upon arrival. The secretary suggested clauses I hadn't thought of that would be best to add to the contract. Before I signed, the notary explained in detail what I was signing.
If this is your first time using the service, be prepared to be held accountable for not clarifying ten times that you need a paper copy, not an electronic one. They won't bother to ask. But they'll write you a receipt, no matter what! Even if it's not for what you needed!
Several times the situation was assessed inadequately, and I had to contact the Chairman of the Latvian Notaries, who referred the problem to another notary.
Rude!!! Disgusting!!! Customer service. My appointment was for 1:00 PM, and I was so surprised when I arrived to find that six other people had appointments for the same time. When I got to this person's office, it turned out we didn't have an appointment at all!!! Naturally, she also refused to see me, even though we had arranged everything in advance (the appointment was made by calling her personally!). When I expressed my indignation and asked, "How can you be so irresponsible about your work? You have six people booked for the same time?" I received the reply, "None of your business." I don't recommend this person to anyone if you value your nerves or money! I feel sorry for the pensioners who were left waiting for an appointment; apparently, this person's services are geared toward them (who usually remain silent and tolerate it).
