A complete scam. My girlfriend and I were renting an apartment on Klaipeda Street in Liepaja. The ad listed it as a nice apartment, with a price of 300 euros plus a 300 euro deposit. Okay, we agreed to meet at the appointed time. A broker and a man (who turned out to be the apartment owner) were standing in the parking lot next to the building. It's unclear where he came from, as we hadn't been warned, but it doesn't matter. After that, we went up to the floor and entered the apartment. We started asking questions, but these two people had practically no answers. The owner, a Canadian citizen living in Minsk and holding a Polish bank account (as stated in the contract), had owned the apartment for three months. He simply said, "Sign the contract, and then I'll tell you everything." :)) Which sounded incredibly odd, without even properly inspecting the apartment. The broker calculated that starting in mid-August, we would have to pay 174 euros for two weeks, less than a full month, plus a 300 euro deposit. Okay! That's what happened! The broker received the agreed-upon amount from me and immediately started to leave, tearing up the recently completed contract. This surprised us greatly, and then, when we were alone with the so-called owner, he started complaining about having problems with tenants before and asked my girlfriend and me, "Sorry, guys, are you even working?!" To which I replied, "If we weren't working, we clearly wouldn't be here!" He sounded like an insult to us. After that, he began explaining that we still had to pay him the remaining 300 euros for September as soon as possible at the end of August, in addition to the deposit, which hadn't yet arrived. This wasn't stated in the contract. Upon rereading it, it stated the first month's rent was 300 euros plus a 300 euro deposit. Paying for the following month was completely out of the question. So, to move in, we had to pay this arrogant guy 774 euros. 😄 When we asked the so-called owner, "Did you even read the contract?" He replied, "I don't understand Latvian." 😆 Immediately realizing the deal wasn't working out, he started calling his accomplice from the fake agency to come and return our money, then freaked out and said he didn't want to rent the apartment to people like us anymore. Thankfully, we got our money back. It's unclear where the 174 euros came from, and why we had to transfer it to his Polish bank account will also remain a mystery. When we tried to transfer money to his account, he couldn't clearly tell us what information to include on the payment form. A pure SCAM for suckers! Avoid this agency and don't deal with these scammers!

The broker is dishonest. Made an appointment that was delayed by an hour. Having agreed to buy the apartment, he announced that he had already had a buyer five days ago. We did not understand why, when there is a buyer, we still invite others. I do not recommend this agency.

A completely incompetent broker. He shows up to meetings unprepared and can't say a thing about real estate. He spins yarns and flat-out lies. Not only is he rude, but he's also overly familiar. In short, he's all show-off. It's hard to believe that people like him can sell anything to anyone. And even harder to believe that companies like him even exist. I don't recommend him!

I rented a dirty, unrenovated apartment for three years. I hung the wallpaper myself, and touched up some of the paint. When I moved out, they cheated me out of my security deposit, claiming I left the apartment dirty even though I'd cleaned and tidied it up! They're scammers, greedy for pennies. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I'm going to sue them!

They don't rent an apartment because, in their opinion, a large one-room apartment is not suitable for 3 girls (students), because, in their opinion, it will be ruined. They don't even want to meet and discuss this situation ("no point"). Or at least give them the apartment to look at. :)
