I bought 4017 sq.m of forest land in Staldzene. The agent who guided me every step of the way was Ilze Tumena. Ilze Tumena comes with my highest possible recommendation. If you are buying land in Latvia, particularly in the Kurzeme region, and especially if, like me, English is your native language and your Latvian language skills are very limited, Ilze's service is the absolute best in the business. She is a meticulous and reliable real estate agent who you can count upon to take you through every step of the process of buying property in Latvia. I have given her fire stars but I would have happily given her six stars.

I am considering moving to Europe and am doing my initial enquiries. I have emailed the estate agents to find out basic information from all the fees to move then what monthly bills I would be required to pay. They have answered everyone of my questions (there was a lot). They have giving me a much better insight to what is required. Due to how good they have helped me if I decide to buy in Latvia I will 100% be using this estate agent. Again thank you.

Communication as a potential buyer with the seller Reinis was unpleasant. It seems that the reviews are not real. When contacting Reinis about the published ad, you can only view the apartment on Sundays from 10:00 to 11:30. There is no talk of adapting to the buyer here at all. How do I want to buy, Reinis asks, is the full amount available or will there be a loan? I informed him that there will be a loan. The seller no longer sounds happy and announced that there will be an assessment then and it will be noticeably lower. Okay, let's go, I have the right to view, maybe I'm ready for this attraction. A three-room apartment in an unrenovated panel house... I haven't seen the utility bills yet to be on the lookout for the offer, but Reinis says that he will give the apartment to the one who will give more. It sounds aggressive and funny at the same time. But Reinis must have been taught that. The seller also doesn't know anything about the parking space, he's also furious about the fact that there are permits, the owners have been parking near the house for 2 years and it's ok. In the end, I managed to find out that there is a permit. Sunday's inspection has been canceled because of me, important courses that cannot be skipped. It's impossible to apply for next week, I have to wait for a message on Tuesday about Wednesday's inspection. On Monday, I received a call with such an excited voice that there was a buyer who would immediately give 5k more, should I give more? Um, I'm sorry, is that your style in sales? Are we really talking about an apartment or is it an auction. Without seeing the apartment, without seeing anything in person, should I give even more? I wonder what for? So that Reinis can earn more in percentage? 86k was already an inappropriate price and the seller was well aware of it. Why did they have to wait for Monday, if there was already such a wealthy buyer on Sunday? To sell is to highlight the advantages, not to manipulate. Even if I had the whole amount, I would not spare money for the assessment. Very bad impression in general about Aver. Now I understand why the public is afraid of real estate specialists, because specialists still need to be found.

I am in the property business, and Reinis Petkus from AVER recently sold two apartments to me. Throughout the purchase process, Reinis was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions in detail, went out of his way to help me, and the purchase went through very quickly and smoothly. I would be happy to work with Reinis again.
