Yesterday, I visited PFAT to obtain an apostille for an official document that needed to be sent abroad. Unfortunately, my request was rejected for what I believe was an incorrect reason. They told that the person who signed my document was not an authorized representative of the university.<br><br>However, this information is totally incorrect . The person who issued and signed my document is fully authorized by the university, and their signature is officially registered for apostille purposes. As I understand it, in cases of uncertainty, the service should contact the university to verify the signature before refusing the application.<br><br>I am not sure what database or records were used to reach this conclusion. What makes this even more confusing is that I had previously apostilled a very similar document without any issues. That document was also signed by an authorized university representative, who actually held a lower position than the person who signed my current document.<br><br>I honestly do not understand what changed, but this experience has been extremely disappointing and has significantly reduced my trust in this service. I sincerely hope this situation will be taken seriously, the verification process will be reviewed, and this issue will be resolved so that other applicants do not face the same problem.
