I will share my experience of cooperation with the company Windows Factory SIA. The initial process was positive, communication, selection of materials and technical solutions, production time as promised 6-7 weeks. So far so good. The measurement was carried out by a company representative, two new windows were measured “with a margin”, namely 3cm shorter than the old ones, but nothing, foam will always help. One new window was made with the opposite opening direction than the old one, although at the time of the measurement the old window was in place and the opening direction was visible. The patio door was made 5cm higher! The error occurred because during the measurement one sash direction was planned to be inward, but after the measurement it was announced that only the opening direction to the outside was possible. But the company employees did not discuss these technical nuances among themselves. The result – take what you can get, or wait 7 weeks, needless to say, there was no desire to keep a hole in the wall until spring in February, so the hole had to be redone. On the day of installation, 06.01.2025. the windows are delivered directly from the snow-covered/frozen pile, the guys who install them melt the ice with a hairdryer so they can install them, which is unfortunate for them. The patio door is full of ice and the mechanism cannot be adjusted. The installation is provided by a subcontractor hired by the Window Factory company, all due respect to these guys, they did their job honorably and I have no complaints against them! Two weeks after installation, it is found that water drips into the room along the frame of one of the windows during rain, and the patio door still needs adjustment. The company representative is informed about this fact on 27.01.2025. Until 06.02.2025. I regularly call a company representative, who only promises that as soon as a colleague is free, he will leave, there is a lot of work, etc. Currently, 02.04.2025. the company still has not contacted and has not come to fix/inspect the problems, so I am sharing my experience. The order amount is a little over 3000 EUR, probably too small for anyone to worry about poor customer service. I do not recommend ordering windows from Window Factory, if there are any problems, the company will not be interested in solving them.
