We visited the Iron Fox on June 23rd, during the Midsummer festivities (Joninės). The atmosphere around Lake Talkša was absolutely wonderful, with many people gathering for the celebration. The sculpture itself is very impressive and much larger in person than it looks in photos. The metalwork is incredibly detailed and creative, making it a perfect backdrop for holiday pictures. I’m giving it 4 stars only because it can get extremely crowded during such events, and it was a bit difficult to find a quiet spot to sit down. While the location is beautiful, I wish there were more permanent benches or a small cafe nearby to enjoy the view longer without the holiday rush. However, seeing the 'Geležinė lapė' during a local festival was a great experience. It’s a unique landmark that truly represents the spirit of the city. Definitely worth a quick stop if you are in Šiauliai!

Our city symbol is the Iron Wolf. Or rather, he is in armor. And in Šiauliai there is his girlfriend - the Iron Fox. Yes, she is completely made of metal. And with heaviness - hung with locks. I wonder which love is stronger: locked with a lock on a bridge or on a fox? From a more real-life perspective: I liked the idea near the bike repair benches.

Next to the square of the sun there is the lake Talksa where there is the steel fox, a sculpture with a height of 6 meters. The round of the lake is about 5 km. The place is ideal for children for walking, water games such as cycling, sea sports. There is also a cafe for relaxation
