Avoid this master - irresponsible and unprofessional! His work can be described as hasty, thoughtless and not carried out responsibly. I will tell you about my experience. The door to the house was locked, so we called this "master". He arrived, opened it, and to prevent the door from closing, he screwed in wood screws - that would be the least of the problems. He offered to change the lock the next day for €130 (€80 for the lock and €50 for the work). I agreed. I also asked him to immediately change the second - upper - lock, which is screwed in from the inside. He assured me that it was not complicated and the whole job would take no more than an hour. And here the real problem began. When he arrived for work, he started installing the lock he had, but he didn't even measure it beforehand. The diameter didn't fit, so he started drilling the door. Without any measurements, he drilled “by eye”, wasted a lot of time, and the holes still didn’t match. After an hour and a half of trying, he finally succeeded – but the door was riddled with holes. He installed the second lock no better. After installing it, he noticed that he screwed it in the wrong way. Since he had already put the door back together, he didn’t want to disassemble it again, because, as he himself said, “it took too long anyway”. When I said that it didn’t suit me, he disassembled it anyway and tried to reinstall it. But in doing so, he lost one screw and simply riveted one side in its place! Moreover, the upper lock didn’t work at all – its inner part didn’t match the lock’s axis, so it twisted and could have jammed. He himself admitted: “That’s not how it turned out.” He tried to “fix” something, but in the end he only damaged the axis even more. Finally, he said that I could change the lock myself or call him again the next day, because he had been working for three hours and the work was not only not finished, but also increased in price from €130 to €150! The next day I went to the store, bought an upper lock for €10 and changed it myself. And when I asked the seller why he had to drill holes for the main lock, the answer was simple: “First you need to know the diameter, then buy the lock.” Of course, he didn’t do it. Result: • The job, which was supposed to take 1 hour, took 3 and was left unfinished. • The door was riddled with holes. • The upper lock was riveted and I had to drill it myself. • The handle and the door were screwed together with different screws. • The price went up, although the job was never completed. Conclusion: complete unprofessionalism, irresponsibility and dishonesty. If you want to avoid damaged doors and additional costs - stay away!
