HOP supported us on the full renovation of our flat, we decided to rethink fully the structure of the flat and to add an extra floor. We also had strong ideas when it came to design. HOP has been for us a sparring partner along this journey, supporting us from the early stages with ideation on how to revisit the plan, then to design with several options of what to do / how / what materials / etc., to permit application and finally contractor selection/briefing. They advised as well on reliable partners they have been working with and were along the way always supportive and responsive. Today we are very happy with the end result and can proudly say that what we managed to achieve is in line with what we originally designed and dreamed of.

We completed a full renovation over three floors and a roof terrace with HOP. As foreigners, new to Amsterdam, it was really helpful to have the advice and guidance of Michael and Bo. They helped us retain the charm of our period property while fully modernising the plumbing, electrics, kitchen and bathrooms. HOP are simply excellent architects and interior designers. Our project Buddy Buddy was tricky with many constraints and challenges, plus our high expectations! Yet somehow HOP managed to create something that exceeded our expectations. We’re now featured on Dezeen and nominated for several design awards. The guys are all strong at problem solving and quick thinking which helped take the enormous stress of our shoulders. We really appreciate all the late nights and hard work HOP dedicated to make our project a success.
