I had wallpaper designs in mind and needed advice on picking paint colours. Martin did an excellent job in helping us through this. There was no pressure to buy. We did end up placing our orders here for the paint and wallpaper, and everything went smoothly. During follow up visits, Martin was not available but the rest of the staff were helpful in preparing our order. They also had a good contact for applying the wallpaper - we went with them and were happy with the result. I was a bit worried reading some of the comments about customer service, so I tried to go early in the day or in the middle of the week as Friday evening or Saturday noon is always going to be busy. When I went, I was able to get the help I needed. You can also call and schedule an appointment. Overall, happy customer :-)

What a fantastic store for home decoration. High quality paints, wallpaper, drapes, etc. Expert advice, in a friendly and professional manner. Great atmosphere among the team and with clients. And in situ problem solving (I had a pleated curtain that needed a fix). In a beautiful setting.

I've had mixed experiences in the De Ru store over the years... you can turn up some days and staff are really short with you and clearly very rushed, and others they are happy to spend a lot of time with you. On the website you can book an appointment which helps, but isn't a magic bullet. Regardless, we picked wallpaper for our bedroom in the end, and were recommended some fitters. Youssef and his colleague (who i neglected to get the name of 😬) did an outstanding job of installing our very expensive wallpaper that i was quite nervous about. They were so attentive to detail, it really was superb. Initially i had asked for a couple of walls to be re-painted, but when they saw some of the other walls they asked if they should be done too which to be fair, was the right call. Excellent workmanship, excellent communications, excellent timekeeping. Very very pleased, will for sure use again.

If you are looking for the best wall-paper options in town, this is the place. They were very nice, helpful and gave me very good advice. I came to the shop with an idea (not the best, I must admit now), after discussing with them they showed me different options. I am glad I went to De Ru and followed their recommendation. The wall looks stunning. Great quality of products too.

We had been talking to couple of other paint shops before we found De Ru. As someone who has no idea about paint, Nils, who assisted us the whole process，is very helpful and kind. He gives very good advice and doesn't oversell. We greatly appreciate him and other people in the shop. Every time we go to their shop, everyone is very positive and never impatient for our excessive questions. lol
