We hired Studio Francis for a full interior design and project management package on our 4-bed family home in Amsterdam, and it honestly ended up being the best decisions we made in the whole renovation. What stood out wasn’t just the end result (which we absolutely love), but how smooth and well managed the process was - they made a process that is famously incredibly stressful just so easy. Tristan and Max were calm, organised and incredibly thoughtful. There was a moment fairly early on when we were overwhelmed with choices and worried we’d made a mistake taking on such a large and complicated project. They came back with a clear plan, a set of well judged options that actually suited our daily lives, and suddenly everything clicked. It was then the house felt like it was becoming our home and allowed us to settle into the design process, thoroughly enjoying each stage. Both Max and Tristan have that rare combination of beautiful interior design, strong architectural thinking (maximising layouts throughout), great taste, and practical project management skills. Communication was clear throughout, and we always felt looked after. If you’re looking for an interior design or architecture studio in Amsterdam for a renovation / refurbishment (or minor extension like ours), and want a team that handles everything from concept to construction - I couldn’t recommend Studio Francis more highly! We had the pleasure of working with Tristan and Max during the renovation of our house. They designed our kitchen / dining / living space and as this was and area where we would spend most time as a family - we wanted to get it right. And we are 100% happy with the end result - everything has worked our perfectly.
