Studio Frieda May - Interior Design, Interior Advice & Project Management Amsterdam

We worked with Frieda to help us style our new home, and it was one of the best decisions we made in the whole process.<br>She listened to what we wanted, and translated our vague ideas into a cohesive, beautiful home. Highly recommend her if you want an interior designer who genuinely cares about getting it right for you.<br>For example, she helped us choose lighting and paint colours that completely transformed the feel of our space, and everything works together beautifully.<br>What really stood out was her practical, honest advice. Her guidance also saved us a huge amount of time — instead of endlessly second-guessing decisions or getting lost comparing options, we could move forward with confidence knowing we were making the right call.

Frieda heeft ons geweldig geholpen bij de verbouwing en inrichting van onze benedenverdieping! Naast dat ze met hele goede ideeën kwam voor indeling, kleuren, materialen en verlichting, heeft ze ons ook veel zorg uit handen genomen door goede leveranciers en een fantastische aannemer aan te dragen. Frieda denkt echt mee, is eerlijk in haar adviezen, schakelt snel en is daarnaast ook gewoon een hele leuke dame om mee samen te werken. Echt een aanrader!”

Frieda has been instrumental in renovating my house into a place that I am proud of and that feels like home. Frieda is knowledgeable and creative, she was a great source of inspiration in the creation process and a good sparring partner. She listened well to my needs and translated these into a great concept. Her services are not restricted to the conceptual phase, she also joins to stores (kitchen, bathroom, etc) to assist in the practical phase. Frieda is committed, easy going and a joy to work with. I can highly recommend her.

Heel prettige werken met Frieda. Ze heeft goede ideeën , praktische oplossingen, en een heel netwerk met vakmensen die de mooiste dingen maken. Prachtig ontworpen keuken, mooie kasten op maat, prachtige lampen, stijlvolle badkamer, goede keuze van verf en behang ( en vakmensen die dat mooi kunnen opbrengen) , een supermooie vloer en prachtige gordijnen !

Frieda has really helped me get a great start on the renovation plans for my new apartment. She had many ideas that I hadn’t even thought of. I would ask her for more help again in a heartbeat. Very helpful, pragmatic, and friendly. Highly recommended!

My bf and I had very different styles, but Frieda brought them together into a cohesive design that we both absolutely love. She made what we felt impossible, possible!<br>Besided her amazing interior design skills, knowledge and guidance from end to end, Frieda also made the whole process fun and smooth. She really listens, understands your vision, and goes the extra mile to bring it to life. On top of that, she’s kind, professional and super easy to work with! (as an expat, I really appreciated how great her English is.)<br><br>We are more than satisfied with her work and would recommend her to anyone!

Frieda helped us transform our living room, kitchen and dining room into an amazing, cohesive and cozy living space. We both absolutely love the design (and it wasn't easy with two contrasting styles / tastes) and cannot wait for everything to be done. Frieda is exceptionally easy to work with, highly flexible with requests and always goes the extra mile to make sure that you get the design that you want - I'd give 10 stars if that were possible. Additionally, if you're an expat with limited Dutch, Frieda is the designer for you with 10/10 English :)

Frieda heeft twee prachtige badkamers en een keuken voor ons ontworpen! Helemaal zoals we gehoopt hadden en wat bij ons past. Ze heeft heel goed met ons meegedacht en was ook tijdens de verbouwing altijd bereikbaar voor tips en tops!<br>We hebben tijdens onze samenwerking gemerkt dat ze precies was waar we naar op zoek waren. Er werden eindelijk keuzes gemaakt en er lag een prachtig kant en klaar plan op tafel. Dat gaf rust en duidelijkheid!
