DISASTER - THEY’RE THIEVES - DONT EVER CALL THEM FOR ANYTHING On a Saturday night, my key broke into 2 pieces leaving one half inside the lock. I called this service to get a quotation. The person who picked up the phone said “the job might approximately cost €200 + weekend, i don't know i will tell the technician to call you right now”. Then he asked my address and I assumed that was to give me an ETA I gave him the post code and I repeatedly asked for a full price he said the technician will tell you. I said okay. From that moment the technician never called. 30 minutes later, he just appeared at my address while I have been waiting for a call and a proper quotation based on photos. The technician arrived with his price list €35 for just showing up at the address, €167 for trying to fix the lock (not guaranteed) without drilling or changing the lock, €90 extra charge since it’s the weekend. If the door needs drilling then accordingly a new lock the price goes up to 250€ + the above mentioned extra charges of showing up and working in the weekend. I said that this was ridiculous that he just shows up without providing a price and that now I had to pay him even if he does absolutely nothing. I was not informed at all that I would be paying a cost no matter what. At the end of the night the door did open without him doing anything but I still had to pay him €42 just for showing up unannounced. Let this be a lesson for anyone who ends up in a situation like this.
