Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I engaged Dutch Real Estate Company for purchasing guidance under a fixed-fee contract linked to a successful purchase. When the transaction did not go through due to financing, I was nevertheless required to pay a substantial additional amount that was not clearly foreseen in the signed agreement. An hourly rate was later presented, although this was never agreed or signed beforehand. Despite explaining my concerns and pointing to the contract terms, I was informed that payment was required regardless. I ultimately paid the amount to avoid further escalation and stress. I would advise future clients to carefully review the contract terms and ask in advance what happens financially if a purchase does not complete. _______________________ reply to owner: Indeed, the contract was signed in the name of my partner, Carla Mata. I was, however, fully involved in the process from start to finish and am therefore very familiar with the situation you are referring to. The fact that you immediately recognised the case confirms that point. The core issue raised in my review remains unchanged. The agreement was based on a fixed, result-based commission. When the purchase did not complete, an hourly rate was introduced afterwards, which was never agreed or signed in advance. That is the point that caused concern and disappointment. This review is not about whether effort was invested or whether third parties were involved. It is about contractual clarity and what clients can reasonably expect to pay when a transaction ultimately does not complete. I stand by my review and my advice to future clients to ensure that all financial consequences are clearly agreed in writing upfront, including scenarios where a purchase does not go through.

We cannot thank Dutch Real Estate Company enough, or praise them enough. I have only nice things to say about all the members of the team we collaborated with. My husband and I were looking for a home in Amsterdam or near Amsterdam, and we could not even believe we could find a place in Amsterdam, let alone so quickly! I always joke that Indra and the team were so good at what they do and so efficient, that we had to be efficient too, and move quickly, so we can start the new year in our new home.
