I have been completely scammed by Dakservice Van Gelder. I paid over €4,000 for work that was never carried out. A scaffold was supposed to be erected—which never happened (I was absent myself that day), and the gutter was supposed to be replaced. Instead, a coating was applied over it, and the zinc work on the dormers was executed so poorly that leakage is an acute risk. A coating was also left behind on my interior wall, bathroom floor, roof terrace, bedroom floor, stair carpet, and toilet seat. The worst part is that all my jewelry disappeared from my home on the day the work was supposed to be done. A report has been filed with the police in Amsterdam (Burgwallen location) regarding both the scam and the theft. If anyone has experienced similar things, please contact the police immediately.
