Super nice shop and has all kinds of wooden flooring with high quality. We had our floor oiling done from them, and it turned out very nice. Very good service totally recommended.

The communication was initially very good. Ramon was very helpful with picking up the new floor and arranging all the process for the installation. The installation of the lpv floor though, was not up to the standards we expected. The floor looks very pretty, however, once we moved back into our place we noticed that the floor is extremely bouncy in the area around a step. The installers came back to fix it with an attitude "we can not fix this". My husband then suggested to them a workaround solution that helped make the step more stable. Unfortunately, in certain areas the floor is still quite spongy, bouncy, and uneven at places. We called them back to check and even though the installer acknowledged the problem, the same "we can not fix this" attitude persisted. We are not sure if this is lack of experience or lack of attention to detail, but given the cost, either of the explanations is unjustifiable. If we knew the end result beforehand, we would have made a different decision. This has already been communicated back to the company via email and no response has been received, which was expected. Go to them for buying the floor, but use you own trusted installers, if you want a quality result.

Scammers - avoid at all costs. The other reviews must have been bought. I fell for them unfortunately and was scammed by this company. They came to check my floor to see if they could restore it “like new”. They said everything checked out and I paid the full amount up front. They ruined my floor and left it behind with irreparable damage - their heavy machine and unprofessional workers (one extremely young) left many holes and tore slats of wood apart. They said they would come back to fill the holes and replace the broken slats. When I emailed to ask when this would happen, they said they didn’t have the slats in stock and that was it. I feel like I was robbed. See photos for how they left my floor. Avoid this company at all costs - they will charge you to damage your property. There are many better honorable alternatives in Amsterdam. Riga Vloeren is a scam.

Today we went on a search for Heringbone / Fishbone parket flooring. After 400km and visiting many Kilo-Knallers and Plof-Kippen whole sale stores of wood floors. We arrived by Riga. Finally a decent store with professionals and know-how. If a tight budget is the only thing, Riga might be just out of budget. If Amsterdam living is your thing, Riga is the best flooring specialist with the most experience of all floor stores in Amsterdam. Without any doubt. We bought the Fishbone floor in 62,5 cm x 12,5 cm. High quality flooring, no ridges, no visible seams and very easy to lay and join together by hand, as easy as click. A joy to work with.

In one word: Excellence! Riga simply did an amazing job in brainstorming, communicating, execution and service. One top of that they were very hard to beat when it comes to price quality. I would highly recommend Riga.
