Really nice place, amazing view, great atmosphere. Very clean. Staff very nice, Jetske helped understanding everything I need to know, and everyone else from staff were also available! Easier to do sports in a nice environment.

During my extended business trip to Rotterdam, I visited several gyms before finding MyLife Rotterdam aan de Maas, which clearly stood out above the rest. Although it was the most expensive option, the difference in quality, atmosphere, and overall experience fully justified the price. The ambience was exceptionally calm and privacy oriented, with high ceilings and generous space spread across multiple floors. Well designed private areas create a strong sense of discretion, while the layout never feels crowded. A large chill out lounge with a well stocked bar adds a refined touch, making the club feel both exclusive and welcoming. The environment is family friendly yet distinctly premium, combining comfort, space, and tranquility in a way that few gyms manage to achieve. Among all the options visited, this was by far the most enjoyable and memorable experience, and easily the preferred choice. I recommend.

I was just visiting Rotterdam, but I was genuinely impressed by MyLife Rotterdam aan de Maas. The gym is clean, modern, spacious, and very well-equipped, with a great layout that makes training feel comfortable rather than crowded. Everything feels thoughtfully designed—from the equipment selection to the overall atmosphere. What really stood out was the welcoming, positive vibe. Even as a visitor, it felt friendly and easy to settle in, which says a lot about the culture here. If I lived in Rotterdam, this would absolutely be my go-to gym. Easily one of the nicest gyms I’ve come across while traveling. 💪

Besides the best ever staff (amazing job, guys!!!), amazing view, and good machines, it feels like the people managing this location no longer care about the members - only about profits. The recent renovation has made things significantly worse, and many basic facilities still fail to meet expectations. 1. "Relax Room" No Longer Relaxing The men's relax room is now placed inside the changing room, which completely defeats its purpose. Instead of being a quiet space, it has constant foot traffic, noise, and cold drafts coming from the emergency door. Dirt is brought in from outside, and instead of relaxing, you end up being irritated. In addition, now there are many people using theirs mobile phones in the relax room and who knows what they are filming there. 2. Poor Ventilation in the Men's Sauna Area The ventilation is terrible. There's a constant smell of stagnant water and other unpleasant odors. This is not what you expect from a wellness area. 3. The Shower in the Men's Sauna Area Is a Disaster I've reported the shower issue three times to staff and even emailed the manager before renovation. I was promised it would be fixed - but nothing changed. To get a few drops of water on your head, you have to lean against the wall because the top shower head is placed just a few centimeters away from it. At the same time, the middle shower head hits your stomach with an extremely hot jet of water, and the bottom shower head sprays into your private parts. The design feels like it is from the 19th century. Truly shameful. 4. Women's Showers Still Not Fixed My wife reports that the women's showers - also promised to be repaired during renovation - are still either freezing cold or burning hot. She and her friends have already gotten burned. This is unacceptable. 5. No Equality Between Men's and Women's Facilities My wife can no longer use the steam sauna because now it's entitled only for men. So, as a result, women have only 1 sauna and men got 2. 6. We Can No Longer Enjoy Saunas Together Before, we used to spend time together in the saunas. Now everything is separated, removing one of the main reasons we joined this gym in the first place. 7. Steam Sauna Is Old and Dirty The steam sauna looks outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. The smell is awful, and the temperature is either very hot or not warm enough. Just yesterday, several other members were also complaining about the dirt and mold inside. 8. No Proper Water Refill Stations There is still no place to refill water except inside the toilet area. This is unhygienic and impractical. 9. Not Worth €75/Month Considering all of the above, €75/month is simply not a good deal. Members Were Never Asked for Input I've spoken to more than 30 members - both men and women - and none of them are happy with the renovation. None were consulted, and no one was asked for suggestions. A simple email questionnaire could have helped the gym understand what people actually needed. Before renovation, I even sent an email with my proposals on how to improve the area. I was told to wait and see because "it will be amazing." Unfortunately, the opposite happened: the renovation made things worse. It looks like the people responsible for developing this location either never use the facilities themselves or simply don't care. If they had even once tried to use the showers or relax room, they would immediately see the problem. Many other members have also sent suggestions and complaints, and most never received a response. In summary: Great staff and great view - terrible management decisions and poor facility quality. I truly hope the gym listens to its members and fixes these issues, because right now it feels like member experience is not a priority.

The gym boasts an incredible view, which is a significant motivator for me to attend regularly. However, I believe there are a few areas for improvement, especially considering the membership price. One issue is the lack of water refill stations; currently, we have to refill our bottles in the restroom, which isn’t ideal. Additionally, I’ve noticed that other gyms I’ve visited with lower monthly fees often offer complimentary coffee and tea, which enhances the experience. It might be beneficial for this gym to consider adding these amenities as well. Lastly, incorporating more specialized equipment, such as hip thrust machines, would greatly enhance the workout options available to members. Overall, I appreciate the gym but feel these improvements could make it even better.
