Studio At No.11

I recently collaborated with Charlie from Studio at No.11 on a full house refurb in Margate, Kent through my company, Old Town Property Services.<br>Having worked with numerous designer/project managers previously, I found her approach extremely refreshing.<br>Charlie listened to feedback from site, and whilst sticking to her design principles, understood the challenges faced on site and we always found a solution best for the client and final outcome.<br>Charlie is a seriously talented designer with an acute eye for detail, understands the building process inside out and actually what goes into a project of this scale from both sides of the fence.<br>Always available, whether remotely or on site visits, the whole project was managed between us and the end results were stunning.<br>Hope to work together again soon Charlie..

We hebben in nauwe samenwerking met Charlie het gedateerde appartement omgetoverd tot een moderne open ruimte die stijlvol, sfeervol en warm is. De speciaal voor ons ontworpen keuken is hierin een pronkstuk. Charlie heeft een onuitputtelijke bron aan ideeën en een enorm gevoel voor kleur en voor het optimaal indelen van de ruimte.<br>Iedere dag genieten we van dit prachtige resultaat

Charlie worked with me on a remote consultation basis and I am incredibly happy with the end result. She redesigned the layout for my very awkward sized kitchen making a difficult space a delight to be in, with function and purpose. She also helped me choose the materials ensuring it aligned with my original boards, and took the stress out of daunting creative decisions, knowing how everything would come together when I lacked vision! I love my new kitchen and highly recommend working with Studio at No 11.

Charlie worked with me in from inception of ideas, to renovation/ design and key colours and furniture pieces (kitchen, bathroom, living room, basically the whole place) in my canal house in Amsterdam. As a expat, it can be daunting going through such a process alone! Charlie helped from start to finish, keeping the integrity of the space and suggesting classic and bold pieces that made my home the cozy place I love spending time in today. She has an eye for combinations and spaces that were crucial to making my place to special and beautiful. Thank you Charlie!

Iedere dag opnieuw word ik gelukkig als ik mijn woonkamer/keuken in loop.<br>Het was een keus tussen verhuizen of verbouwen. Blij dat we voor het laatste hebben gekozen. Dat een oud huis dit in zich heeft....Wat is het prachtig geworden!<br>De kleuren, de ruimte, de originaliteit, het licht, het comfort.<br>Zonder Charlie en Studio At No.11 hadden wij dit niet voor elkaar gekregen. Zij heeft ons met respect voor onze eigen smaak en behoud van bepaalde eigen meubels en spullen door vele opties geloodst. Aanrader dus.

Charlie helped us completely re-design the kitchen and dining space of my renovation project in Sussex, UK.<br><br>We wanted to manage the build ourselves as we already had a builder lined up and my husband would complete the interior installation himself. So we agreed on the Interior design, kitchen & technical package from Charlie/Studio At No. 11. We needed help on layout, lighting plan, colours and mostly the kitchen design.<br><br>We met on site early on and then follow up communication was via zoom, the communication was clear and consistent.<br><br>We completely reimagined the layout of the space, removing walls between the existing cramped kitchen, dining and laundry rooms, to create one open plan space.<br><br>Charlie designed us a truly bespoke kitchen, supplying the furniture, worktop and handles from different sources - meeting our budget but giving us something truly unique.<br><br>She really listened to what we wanted and came up with an amazing design.<br><br>We are so pleased with our new Kitchen - highly recommended!

Met de hulp van Charlie hebben wij ons nieuwe appartement omgetoverd tot een paleisje! Charlie kwam met frisse, creatieve ideeën op het gebied van meubels, indeling, verlichting en raamdecoratie en zorgde ervoor dat het een prachtig geheel is geworden. We zijn erg blij met het resultaat en bevelen haar van harte aan!

Creative yet structured, jewel box of ideas and an excellent listener, patient and focused. We had a stellar experience all around. The result - a dream home.<br>We haven’t been an easy customer: me - knowing exactly what I want but cannot precisely describe, detail-obsessed; my husband - demanding and uncompromising on quality. Thank you for not firing us as clients, Charlie.<br>When things didn’t go as planned, Charlie always found a plan B and a plan C; to my crazy ideas, she always came back with multiple options to match.<br>We are utterly grateful for realizing exactly what we dreamed of.

Having over seen four restaurant refurbs in Bristol working with family and other contractors, Bianchis Restaurant was a different prospect all together. 1-3 York road has been a restaurant for as long as I can remember, not just any restaurant but the legendary Bells Diner in the heart of Montpellier, Bristol's Bohemian arts quarter.<br><br>The building however was very much showing decades of service ware and tare but still had its strong features that so many people loved. This was a delicate situation for us because not only did we want to give the place a makeover we wanted to change its name, for many locals this was one step too far.<br><br>Having reached out for recommendations of interior design contractors Charlie came highly recommended so we invited her along straight away. From the moment Charlie stepped through the door you could see her excitement and instant enthusiasm for the space. She took a lot of care in understanding not just the aesthetic we were looking for but the practicalities as a business we had to prioritise. We spoke of how the restaurant was seen by its adoring neighbours and she was quick to advise on how you engage with locals regarding works and assured us that although she wanted to make subtle changes the restaurant would retain the key features so many people loved it for.<br><br>The whole process of working with Charlie was brilliant from start to finish. It was professional, engaging and ultimately, we now have an extremely stylish restaurant that has class with-out being pompous. From a practical prospective the restaurant has a great flow and our customers are constantly remarking on how beautiful the place is.<br><br>I would highly recommend using Charlie for any interior design project and one day I hope to work with her again, just maybe not on another restaurant as 5 is quite enough for now!
