Paid €800 to replace two earth leakage circuit breakers (€34 at the tool station). Ultimately, no power. He said he had to call Stedin; it was the fuse. It turned out he hadn't connected the contact properly. And besides, it turned out it wasn't the fuse; the Stedin fuse just needed to be switched off... So, avoid rip-offs. Addition, based on comment: Removed: ABB 40A 30mA type A 1-phase (2P) (1SPK007904F0525) (€87.60) Replaced: ABB F202 A-40/0.03 (€36.66) Based on the invoice: €129 each And yes, I have the invoice. It's you.
Oussama helped us with a ceiling lamp where the wiring from the switch was not connected properly and hence did not work. He was good at diagnosing, polite, efficient, voiced no judgement for the previous work that left this problem, and kept communication with me on what he found and what should be done about it. In the end he had to install an external routing channel along the wall/ceiling for the wires to go up from the switch to the lamp. This seemed like a better option than ripping open the ceiling. He did the job quite neatly and cleaned up after himself. Very positive experience. The channel for the for the lamp could feel a bit more straight/parallel on the wall & ceiling, as well as more neatly closed for my liking, but it‘s an old house where not much meets each other squarely. I am happy with the job and we have a Lamp again!
Cool Blue tech accidentally disconnected a single power wire to our boiler while working on our washer. I called SA, they quoted me 'around 200'. SA worker came, spent 30 mins fixing, added new wiring without my permission, and pooped in my bathroom for 20 minutes. I actually have pics time stamped of him going in and coming out!!!! The bill was 423 Euros and sent to collections while getting it worked out. With threats of being sued for slander - I have settled for a refund of 43 euros. Not perfectly happy, but glad to move on.
