What a beautiful interior we have in our new home, thanks to Janita's design. We have everything we wanted: a warm and peaceful atmosphere, and the high walls in the living room and kitchen, which we were unsure about, have been beautifully addressed by Janita! Thank you so much for your input and for the beautiful result.

The best decision we made for our new home was bringing Janita on board as our interior designer and stylist. We have asked her to help us re-do / re-style the house design from layout to 3D, light plan, and electrical plan. Beyond her warm and lovely personality, she has an ability to understand our lifestyle and preferences. From there, she comes up with creative ideas that I would never have thought of myself! Her vision inspires you to think differently and explore new possibilities, which really broadens your perspective. She is also very collaborative, responsive, and flexible throughout the process. We’re absolutely delighted with her work and how it has actually come to life in our space. We highly recommend working with her!

We worked with Janita from Groos Wonen on the interior design for all three floors of our renovated 1890 house in Haarlem (including layout, lighting plan, and electrical placement). From the start, she really listened to what we like and what we value in a home, and she adapted the design beautifully to suit our lifestyle. What stood out most is her ability to combine style with practicality, using a thoughtful mix of price points to keep each room interesting without compromising on quality. Her communication is excellent – even after sharing the initial plans, she kept collaborating with us until we found the perfect lights, furniture, and paint colors. Since we’re decorating in stages, there has been a lot of back-and-forth, and Janita has always been patient, responsive, and full of ideas. She’s truly passionate about what she does, and it shows in the time and care she puts into every detail. Groos Wonen provided fantastic help with the design of our new home. With a renovation underway and an upcoming move, it was incredibly helpful that Janita took complete care of the interior design. We discussed our wishes in detail beforehand, and Janita got to work on our project, resulting in a beautiful design. Janita is a truly collaborative person, has a great sense of ambiance, and an eye for detail. And just as importantly, the design has truly become a reality. The house has truly become an oasis of tranquility, everything beautifully harmonized. We've already received many compliments on it.

We hired Janita to design the interior of our living room and the attic we use as a bedroom. Although we have a penchant for color, Janita helped us create a beautiful design with a calm base and stylish accent colors. She's a great listener, very creative, and comes up with innovative and inspiring ideas. Janita creates beautiful combinations of materials and knows how to tailor them to your budget. Her advice is comprehensive and meticulously detailed. We especially loved the shopping list; it saved us a lot of time! We would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a renovation!
