Installation was fine, but aftersales service problematic. Late responding, stating answers that are wrong, not addressing the problem and not resolve anything. Like they don't care because service is not making money. I have difficulties controlling the power of the system and help desk does niet resolve it or is incompetent to resolve it.
I'm sharing my experience in the hope that it might prevent others from encountering similar challenges. For those uncertain about SOLARNRG's service quality, this review may offer some insights. Initially, SOLARNRG appeared proactive, especially prior to signing the contract. However, post-contract, communication became problematic. Numerous calls were necessary to elicit any response, often resulting in promises to follow up that were never fulfilled. Responsibility was frequently passed between departments, leading to frustration. We had agreed on the installation of 12 panels, but only 11 were installed. It's been four months, and I'm still awaiting the installation of the last panel. The process for the initial 11 panels was drawn out over three appointments. During the first attempt, incorrect cabling and insufficient materials were evident, complicating the installation of a smart meter, which required two additional appointments. Furthermore, I have not received yet the monitoring app promised upon completion. This experience has left me feeling that the company is disorganized. The panel placement obstructed the installation of a "Dakkapel" on my roof, unlike my neighbors' installations, which were positioned slightly higher. Despite regulations specifying only one tile's clearance above panels, there are three tiles free above ours, making their explanation unsatisfactory. I've attached photos to illustrate the subpar quality of their work. I hope this review would be helpful for the others and also prompts SOLARNRG to address these issues promptly.
The installation experience was highly unprofessional from the beginning . The installer consistently failed to arrive at the agreed-upon time and neglected to provide advance notice. We had to call the customer support one time to get to know whether or not the installer is coming as he would not pick up the phone. During the installation, they left one tile off overnight, which is unbelievable and it caused a big leak. Now, we have more issues on our roof after installation, which left us deeply regretting our decision to use their service. Please think twice before you agree to use their services.
We had solar panels from SolarNRG installed this week, and were very satisfied with their professional work. To order we went to their showroom in Poeldijk and was assisted by Sacha. She went through all our options in great detail, providing her expert advice on how many panels to install with a variety of quotes (number of panels, brands, etc.) to compare. Once an order was placed, she came to our house to measure and check everything in preparation for the installation day. On installation day (approximately 4 weeks after ordering) the installation team was professional and safe in both their inside and outside work. Although they had some technical issues (rental equipment failed) they made sure to stay late and complete the work that day, rather than have to reschedule to finish. We would highly recommend SolarNRG for the purchase of solar panels in The Hague area, and go in person to their showroom for the best possible experience.
My SolarNRG account manager Mark Post was super helpful through the order and technical details process. On the day the installation team arrived on time, were helpful and polite and it was not a problem that I speak very little Dutch, they spoke English. They worked really hard and only took a break once the work was completed. I am really impressed with everyone throughout this experience.
