Kraal Architects provided us with expert advice and support during a major renovation. We wanted to renovate a charming but very dated country house with a thatched roof in the woods. We wanted to preserve the beautiful old atmosphere while making it sustainable and comfortable with modern amenities. We also wanted to expand the usable rooms to make the house comfortable for children. We also wanted to renovate within a year because we wanted to move in quickly. From the first meeting, the Kraal team was enthusiastic and collaborated with us on every aspect of how we could achieve this. It ultimately became a major renovation, with virtually every aspect of the house (including the thatched roof) being addressed. It was a project that required the input of many different parties. Kraal managed this project very effectively, from the design phase to selecting the contractor and the subsequent renovation. The entire process went smoothly and without many problems. Naturally, we encountered numerous challenges, but Kraal always came up with solutions, contributed ideas, and listened carefully to our vision. They also kept a close eye on the schedule, ensuring the project was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe. We've been living here for a while now, and we still notice every day that the design and renovation were done very well; we've hardly encountered any defects. The house now completely meets all our modern needs, while retaining its original charm. We couldn't have had a better experience for this renovation. We haven't regretted choosing Kraal Architects for a single moment. And a pleasant bonus: we experienced the entire renovation period as a wonderful and enjoyable experience because it was simply so much fun working with all the friendly people at Kraal!
