Matex Doors BV
Utrecht-based industrial door supplier with a poor record of post-sale service and billing transparency.
What customers love
- Initial pricing, delivery, and installation met expectations
- Doors supplied are functional for industrial use
- Quotes are provided in written form
Worth noting
- Warranty and post-sale disputes require legal intervention to resolve
- Maintenance contracts omit foreseeable costs, leading to unexpected charges later
Best for
Buyers who require no after-sales support and accept all terms upfront.

The price, delivery, and installation were excellent. Later, the warranty claim proved a disaster, and ultimately, with the help of a lawyer, we were forced to settle.
You don't have to spend hundreds of euros on remote controls from Matex. You can also find them online for just a few euros. They know this perfectly well, but they don't want to help customers: They just want to cash in. Stay away from this company.
One star is actually too much for this company. The only thing they seem interested in is profit-seeking. Even correcting work they performed incorrectly themselves is charged for. Moreover, the invoices are completely inaccurate. If you are looking for a reliable supplier for an industrial door, stay far away from this company.
They're drawing up a maintenance contract for two doors, each over 4 meters high. They only charge for a cherry picker after three years, as standard, because they have to work above 3.5 meters. When they created this quote, they knew they were dealing with a door height of 4 meters. They didn't calculate it for three years, and now they're suddenly including a cherry picker as standard in the annual maintenance. I've since switched to a different maintenance company that is transparent about the total cost of standard maintenance.
No service! Just leave residents stranded who cannot get out of their garage but need to due to an emergency. An official complaint will be filed tomorrow.
