After relocating from Australia to Utrecht, I found a beautiful apartment on one of the loveliest streets in the city, but beautiful street aside, the space itself was a real challenge. Coming from a larger Australian home, I was struggling to figure out how to furnish something so compact while still making it feel like home.<br>After some research I discovered Ellie from Humble Interiors, and from the moment she walked through the door I knew I was in good hands. Within minutes of surveying the apartment, she had already sketched out several viable furniture configuration possibilities I simply hadn't been able to visualise on my own. That practical spatial instinct alone would have been worth it.<br><br>But what truly set Ellie apart was how deeply she listened. She did not just solve a layout problem, she took the time to understand my aesthetic sensibilities, helped me source genuinely interesting pieces that felt considered rather than generic, and guided me through the entire purchasing process with ease. She worked thoughtfully with the few cherished possessions I had brought from home, weaving them into the new space so nothing felt out of place.<br><br>Most meaningfully, Ellie seemed to understand the meaning of home to someone who has moved far from family. The space she helped me create is one I find genuinely peaceful and comforting and that matters more than I can say. Having a home I love has made the emotional distance of living abroad so much easier to carry.<br><br>I cannot recommend Ellie and Humble Interiors highly enough.

We had an onsite consultation with Ellie and are moving ahead with an e-design. We found Ellie online and reached out, Ellie replied to our query within a day and visited us later that week. Ellie has already provided us an outline of her idea for our renovation (creating an extra sleeping space for guests in our apartment) and we are super excited to get started! Ellie is super friendly, approachable and client focused.

We asked Ellie to do an E-design of the apartment we rented. Although we had 10 days before moving in, she came up with a wonderful design we immediately fell in love with. Totally recommend!

Ellie was absolutely lovely! I needed her assistance with staging my living room and dining room, as well as general direction on colors, furniture sizes, layout, etc. Ellie was kind, patient and offered fantastic expertise. Something that really felt overwhelming to begin with now feels super attainable. I will likely be in touch with her regarding other rooms in my apartment!
