We had a generally good experience with Koning. We received emails about houses before they were advertised on Funda, and whenever we asked for a viewing, they arranged it quickly. They were responsive to our questions and joined us for some viewings, which was helpful. At the same time, we personally put a lot of effort into researching the properties, asking questions, and following up. During the bidding process, we were also quite proactive ourselves. Overall, they provided useful support.

We had been thinking about getting a house for a long time but realized it is important to work with someone who understands the market. We spoke with a few companies and felt most comfortable and assured when we had the introductory call with Jordy and immediately decided to go with Koning Aankoopmakelaars. We visiting a couple of houses and had adequate discussion with Jordy about how close they matched our needs and budgets. The best part was, his approach is totally calm and patient and he was quicker to say "no" to a house than us, e.g. a he noticed that in a neighborhood we visited might be more noisy depending on the weather because of the highway being in a certain direction, or a wonderful and spacious house where we might have to spend six months just renovating it. He spot some critical issues with other houses that we certainly would haven't noticed. Soon it was easier to narrow down our search and get a home we love. With this company, paperwork and the rest of the process was so straightforward and easy to manage. I also appreciate the quick coordination and management from Janet time to time. She really makes the process not seem like a big project, but a fun part of your life.
