I had the worst experience with this agency. We visited a property, and they confirmed that we would get the apartment. For an entire week, we called them every day asking why they hadn’t sent the confirmation letter and the list of required documents. Their response was always the same: “We will send it in 15 minutes, as soon as we reach the office.” On some days, we even called multiple times, and every single time we were given the same answer—which turned out to be untrue. We clearly explained our situation: I am moving to the Netherlands for work, and my girlfriend is relocating from Eindhoven. Because of this, it was very important for us to have certainty. Based on their repeated promises, we cancelled other viewing appointments and gave up alternative options. We even agreed to start renting the apartment one month earlier than necessary—leaving it empty—because the landlord wanted to rent it out sooner. We also explicitly asked them to inform us if they were considering other applicants, so we wouldn’t cancel our other options unnecessarily. For four days, they assured us there were no other applicants. On the fifth day, they suddenly told us that another applicant wanted to move in earlier—but still reassured us not to worry and once again promised to send the confirmation letter within 15 minutes. As expected, they never did. When I called them one last time and explained that their actions had caused us to lose our other options, all they said was, “We are so sorry.” That will probably be the same response they post here to this review. I strongly recommend not trusting this agency. They are not honest.

During the time we lived there, our experience with the landlord was generally positive. They were supportive when needed and even immediately returned the rent when we accidentally transferred it twice, which we appreciated. However, our experience changed when we moved out. We requested the return of our deposit and asked for more detailed information about the process, but for a while we did not receive a response. This made the situation frustrating and gave us the feeling that the move-out process was handled poorly. The issue was eventually resolved today after we called them, and the deposit was returned. While we are glad that the matter is now settled, the way the situation was handled unfortunately left a negative impression and cast a shadow on what had previously been a positive experience.

I had a fantastic experience working with Hedwig, Your-House.nl on my car parking rental.
