I have just had a new kitchen installed from Svane and I must say that I am very pleased! From the moment I started planning, to the last detail being put in place, the whole process has been great. The quality of the materials is very good, and I really appreciate the smart storage solutions that ensure that everything has its place. The service from Svane was also excellent. They were helpful and listened to my needs throughout the process. I can definitely recommend Svane kitchens to anyone considering upgrading their own.
With experience from HTH, IKEA, KVIK and Sigdal, unfortunately the quality of this from Svane is far down the list. If you are sitting in an old IKEA kitchen, I think the fronts at Svane fit directly on your old drawers, but whether it is right to switch to Svane I am not sure. It is possible that they have got higher base cabinets now, but 2 years ago the plinth was at least about 20 cm high. There is a lot of dead space that you cannot utilize. In addition, it seems as if the paint can withstand an awful lot before it peels off. We have a 2-year-old kitchen, and will probably change the fronts within a couple of years. In the worst case, we will have to change the drawers and carcasses on the base cabinets too. In that case, there will be no new purchases from Svane Køkkenet. Update after 6 years. The kitchen has been tinkered with and polished 10-15 times. The surfaces look as if they are 20 years old. Still very low quality. Hopefully the newer kitchens they sell are of higher quality.
Kjøkkenet har veldig veldig dårlig kvalitet. Etter under et år viste det synlige skader ved normal bruk. Frontene er lite herdet slik at de altfor lett får riper og hakk eller slites slik at det trekker inn fuktighet. I sameiet vi bor i er samtlige naboer veldig misfornøyd og flere har reklamert. Svane fraskriver seg alt ansvar og påstår at det er normal slitasje. De sier også at kjøkkenet deres ikke tåler oppvaskmaskiner som åpner seg selv etter endt vask så vær obs på dette (andre kjøkkenmerker tåler dette). Vi må kjøpe nye fronter fra en annen leverandør. Gå heller et annet sted, dårligere kvalitet enn Svane finner man neppe.
