This is a long and very well-deserved feedback from Nordvik Bergen Vest and the brokers Tonje Roaldsen and Hamza Choudhary. --- For the first meeting, we met Tonje. We had originally decided on one of Nordvik's competitors, but when we met her, she came with a genuine curiosity about the apartment and an openness to all the questions we had. She didn't have to do what most brokers do to tell us how good they are here - with Tonje, we noticed a body language and a presence that was full of knowledge. And it was clear that she really wanted to work with this property because of factors other than just the financial aspect. You saw an inner motivation and a pure, genuine joy in taking an already beautiful property and making it impeccable. One of Tonje's great advantages, compared to other brokers, is that she has a fantastic vision of how the property can be great as a final product. When we signed with Nordvik, she had a five-page checklist ready that specifically listed which paint codes to get for which rooms, which interior items to buy, where to buy them, and with the total price in mind. That checklist went beyond regular styling advice – thanks to Tonje, the home ended up looking like a real showroom. In addition, she is patient, understanding, and accommodating – three qualities you really need when you are first renovating and then selling the apartment. But her absolute strongest quality is that she is a true people person. She knows how to handle stressed home sellers and she knows what potential buyers want. And she also knows very well how to get these buyers interested in the home. For example: In my home, there are many small details that seem to increase the utility value and aesthetics of the home as a whole. Tonje knew that you can’t get all these details to the right people through a sales brief or static photos. That's why she went further than I've heard any other real estate agent do before her and made a video of the apartment. With a colleague who played the homeowner, Tonje filmed the "owner" while she went about her daily chores in the apartment. The video not only captured all the small details of the apartment, but the video was edited so professionally that it received significant attention on social media. I am absolutely convinced that this video sent several of the bidders to view it, and I am deeply grateful for Tonje's initiative and ability to show the property in the best possible way. --- Later in the process, we met Hamza, and it's rare to meet someone with such in-depth knowledge of the market. Hamza set a asking price for the property that was close to the price record for similar apartments in the area, and he still managed to get the property sold for 9% more than the asking price - at a time of year when it was definitely not a seller's market in the housing market. He did this because he knows the market well enough to focus on quality buyers over quantity, and because he has enormous trust in those buyers. By working with a small number of strong buyers, he was able to pit five bidders against each other in the final bidding process, with four outbidding each other above the asking price. From the price record to the last bid, it took 43 minutes. But it was the last 8 minutes that were truly exceptional. In 8 short minutes, he persuaded three bidders to place a total of four new bids, and he increased the total sales price by a further 7%. Note that we already had extremely strong sales price expectations, and the final price we had been told was completely unrealistic to achieve in this market. But Hamza did it. --- Anyone who gets the opportunity to have Tonje and Hamza as their brokers is not only in safe hands – they are in a safe, warm embrace of professionalism, knowledge, and exceptional skills. Choosing them as our brokers has not only given us extra money in the bank – it has made it possible for us to buy exactly the home we have dreamed of.

I am very happy to write a note of appreciation for Hamza. I am glad to have him for the megler of my apartment at Loddefjord. He gave me a concrete plan in our first meeting and always reminded me about the things to do to in advance. Selling my apartment was not a stressful experience rather it was a very exciting experience with Hamza and his colleagues at Nordvik Bergen Vest and he sold my apartment ca. 350 000 more than the asking price :) He was always available to answer to my phone calls. Extremely pleased with the broker-services of Nordvik for the sale of our home. From the first meeting they had a clear picture of how the home should be presented, and gave us a thorough list of what to do to increase the level of presentation. For the photo-session and viewing they helped us a lot with the finishing touches with styling, and in general the follow up and communication has been excellent.
