Great service from start to finish. They arrived on time, handled furniture and other things with the utmost care. Everything was exactly the same in the new place. They leveled the washing machine and placed the dryer on top. Berges Transport - og Flyttebyrå can definitely be recommended.
Unfortunately not recommended. Emptyed out an approx. 50 sq m apartment, and moved 300 m further down the street. How much do you really have? They spent 8 hours on this, with 2 men, one of whom was busy and the other kept smoking. Didn't want to fill the elevator, drove up 1 trip with 2 TVs??? Also, they "wrapped" paintings and TVs in "gladpack". As we said, THAT doesn't protect that much. They probably spent almost 2 hours just on this wrapping job. And the whole job came to just under 14,000 kroner, absolutely incredible. When we called and explained this, which was actually intended as constructive criticism, and asked gently for a refund due to some wasted "slow time", the general manager just got irritated and said he had heard this before. Maybe the company is efficient, in which case we were incredibly unlucky. We moved the same size from Drammen to Mjøndalen previously, and THAT only took 4 hours in total.
