I thought I would go here to support an independent shop rather than the big chains, but it only ended in disappointment. Complete lack of help and service, the two who work here during the day clearly have zero interest in selling to interested customers. We have a larger project where we are going to paint an entire apartment and wanted help finding the right color for the fixtures and lights in the house. We come in and ask where we could get color samples (a color chart, for example), and are met with a very unenthusiastic "uh you can try over there?" while they point to the store. All further interaction was of the same nature, and it seemed that they simply did not take us seriously as customers or wanted to sell to us in any way. We asked for a color chart that we could buy home as a reference for the house and were then met by the other employee with a "ehh that's quite expensive then...", as if we were not able to pay the 1500kr it cost. Prejudice, zero service attitude, bad attitude, and just general disinterest. We felt, from the first hello, that we were just a nuisance, how dare we come into the store and bother them with questions about colors? Then it will be the big chains anyway, very disappointing. Don't go here if you actually want professional help with colors. So disappointing, we were happy like that too. We came in and asked where we could find color samples, such as a fan deck, and were met with a very unenthusiastic, “Uh, you could try over there, I suppose?”, whilst they pointed vaguely across the shop. Every interaction after that was much the same, and it simply felt as though they didn't take us seriously as customers or had any interest at all in helping us make a purchase. We asked about a color fan deck that we could buy to take home as a reference for the flat, and the other employee merely responded with, "Er, that's actually quite expensive, you know...", as though we were not capable of paying the NOK 1,500 it cost. Prejudiced, utterly lacking in service-mindedness, a poor attitude, and just general disinterest. Quite honestly, from the very first hello, we felt as though we were simply a nuisance. How dare we come into the shop and bother them with questions about colours? In that case, we may as well go to the big chains after all. Very disappointing. Do not go here if you want genuinely professional help with colours. What a disappointment. We had been so looking forward to it as well.

I stopped by Maxbo to get some herdins color to color wood, a small bag 29kr! They didn't have the right color, but I found it at Happy Homes Torshov Farge for 82kr, 53kr more for the same bag they sold at Maxbo! Hence 2 stars!
