I got a quick response from Boligelektrikeren. The boys came over, detected what the trouble was. Fixed it, and it all was done neatly, quickly and by pleasant people. I am pleased with the whole experience.
We recently used this company to install hanging lights in our new apartment in Oslo and were initially quoted a price that was reasonable. However, once the electricians came, they charged us 1,700kr each for 3 outlets that were not even requested in the first place and would have cost 300kr in the store. It's extortionate pricing and the company relies on deceiving customers. NEVER use this company- I will be sure to inform all of our neighbors and friends to avoid at all costs.
The work was done well, but the billing is a joke. The company charges 1,800 kr for an outlet, while the same one costs only 300 kr in any other store. My complaints about the price were met with the response that these are the prices their supplier offers. I have the impression that the company takes advantage of customers’ lack of knowledge and the fact that payment is required upfront before the work is completed. Stay away from them! You explained in your email that these are your prices, so what is the purpose of contacting you again?
Fantastic job by Denial and Lukas. Nice professional guys, came in and fixed a thermometer within minutes, communicated the problem with me and provided advice while working, and I was billed as informed of prior to the work.
