HONEST COMPANY I had extensive renovation of an apartment carried out (see list below). The work was completed with good quality - and I am quite meticulous about it. In some cases, there were discrepancies between the agreed solution and the work that had been initiated. In such cases, it was corrected - and if necessary, re-performed - without unnecessary discussion. There was a willingness to put extra effort into details that had significant importance to me. This could be striving to get floor levels adjusted, parquet and tiles adjusted correctly, transition between door frame and moldings, choice of materials, etc. There is room for improvement when it comes to project planning and coordination. In some cases, people, materials and the various subcontractors were not coordinated. As a customer, you benefit from being ahead of the curve with planning yourself and being clear about agreed solutions. There were some delays - but these were not used as an excuse to cut corners or waive responsibility. Documentation of the work performed could have been better - but fortunately I have followed up and documented well myself. The craftsmen were a bit variable in their communication skills (i.e. in Norwegian or English), but there was usually at least one at any time who could communicate well. Some also communicated well. The craftsmen were consistently proper, and with the right intentions for the work. The fixed price was kept, despite the fact that there were a number of challenges along the way. Surcharges for changes/additions were kept at a reasonable level. Deficiencies that have been discovered after the end of the project - and could not have been easily discovered before - have been corrected. Work carried out: • New bathroom built from scratch (old modular bathroom renovated) • Moving/adjusting some walls, including smooth (invisible) transition between concrete and lightweight wall • Tiled floor with milling and embedding of underfloor heating in progress • New ceiling with recessed spotlights in progress • Glued pattern parquet • Full-depth frame doors in oak • A frameless door (i.e. smooth/unnoticeable transition to wall) • Significant electrical upgrade • Minor plumbing upgrades in preparation for new kitchen • Partial full-filling and painting of all surfaces

We used Oslo Oppussing to renovate a bathroom in an Oslo apartment. Oslo Oppussing met all agreements, was easy to communicate with and adhered to the contract. The bathroom was renovated, with what we can see, good craftsmanship that is documented with photos. Oslo Oppussing can be recommended for renovation/renovation projects.
