Chimera Property AS

I booked an apt managed by Chimera via VRBO in Jan 2026 for a 3 day stop in Oslo in June and was excited because it was advertised as 3 bedroom and 4 beds, perfect for our needs as we had 4 people total in our group. It also advertised amenities like a BBQ, pool table and AC which it did not have. I want to provide an accurate description of events that occurred when my family and I arrived at this property in Oslo.<br>-Did not receive check in instructions 24 hours in advanced as they said we would. My messages via the vrbo site went unanswered and I finally had to call the property manager, Sofia and she had to walkme through the process.<br>-The apt floors were filthy upon entering.<br>-We were switched to a unit with only 2 rooms available not the 3 rooms I PAID for, I was notified of this upon entering the apt.<br>- I was told the cleaning staff would come the following day and they did not<br>-the property owner let himself in the unit while we were there to clean out the 3rd room, he also took the dining table and chairs and the night stand in the bedroom all of which we were using<br>-i called Chimera multiple times when this man showed up for confirmation but could not get a response. Finally got a call back hours later<br>-Sofia said multiple times she would come by and bring a special gift but never showed up besides the first day to try and clean the floors.<br>-a 4th bed and apt cleaning was provided on the last night but we left early the next morning so, too little to late<br>-I asked if anything could be done as a credit or discount to what I paid for and my requests were ignored. This was a terrible experience overall from communication with the property manager to the unsatisfactory condition of the apartment.
