Called for help on a Saturday, from the cabin in Ryfylke. Incredibly nice and service-minded, honest about what it would cost to get him in, and recommended we wait until a weekday, but still helped by looking at pictures over the phone and explaining what we should do, and we managed to solve the problem ourselves! Great that there are people like that in the craft industry!
Charges 4-5x the cost of goods compared to what you can buy yourself at the store, and expects you to use new so he can impose this extra cost on you as a customer. Spends more time telling stories than doing actual work, and expects you as a customer to pay for his time. Otherwise just generally rude when challenged on overpricing. Did his job then at least, but won't use again.
I do not recommend anyone to use Stavanger Rør Teknikk AS, it is an incredibly unscrupulous company. He spent over five weeks on a job of replacing a shower cubicle with a regular shower, moving the mixer tap, sink and mirror. There was a constant rush to get him to come and finish the job. On top of it all, we had a big leak in the drain pipe after he finished the job. The leak extended from the second floor down to the first. We have now lived with a dehumidifier for 3 weeks that runs on two floors 24/7. The only thing he has cared about in retrospect is getting paid. Stay away from this company.
I received an invoice of 19,000 kroner for a clogged toilet. That was probably true, but I wanted a basis for the work. Then I was simply "ghosted".... Until I got a debt collection notice. Then I was "ghosted" again... Certainly skilled and nice people. But I did not have a good customer experience.
Wasted too much time so he could charge excessively, took about 40 minutes to go and buy materials, despite having pictures of what needed to be done beforehand. Did not also mention hidden charges on the bill, and when asked for explanation was extremely rude and dismissive.
