This is incredibly poor service. I reported today, December 30, 2024, that a smoke alarm beeped when the battery was dead. This MUST be replaced by the company, I can't do it myself. I was told that an appointment would be set up for replacement as soon as possible, namely January 29, 2025. In other words, I have to wait a whole month to get a battery replaced! However, it could have happened earlier. This is the second time that it has taken a long time. I think I will have to find another supplier.

Contacted 3 different alarm companies and was told by Sector that none of "the others" were insurance approved and that I risked a reduction in any payment in the event of damage/fire. After a little check with my insurance company (Storebrand) I was told that both "the other" alarm companies were FG approved. One of them actually has an agreement with Storebrand. Sector's salespeople lie to you straight to your face and I have spoken to 3 different salespeople in Sector and they say the same thing. Non-serious as it is. These are not simple cases. This is part of Sector's culture of lying to people.

Got a salesman at the door on Wednesday at 9:10 pm. The husband of a tired salesman. It was my partner who opened the door and said we were not interested. "Not interested" obviously didn't mean no to him. He then started talking about coming in to take a look to see if there were any possibilities to set up an alarm. I ended up having to go to the door and clearly tell him to get out of there. Almost bordering on harassment.

Got a salesman at the door when I refused for the third time. He showed rude behavior. So anyway never go to this house

They are nice when you sign up, but if you cancel your subscription they offer you 3 months free without saying anything about the notice period, and after 3 months free when I cancel again they say ok and again don't mention the notice period. Instead they send invoices for another 3 months and when I call and let them know that I am still receiving invoices, I get all the info... Very nice when I am unemployed... 😕
