Warning to other customers: We ordered a patio awning from Fasadeprodukter three years ago. In July 2024, the awning suddenly came loose from the wall and almost fell over our two small children's heads. After complaining, we waited over three weeks for service before they finally came to screw it back up - demanding that we pay for two extra wall mounts at 398 kr each and new installation. Instead of listening to our description of normal, gentle use, they claimed that the fault was due to "incorrect use in strong winds". This is not true, and is in direct conflict with their own marketing that the awning is "designed to withstand the Nordic climate" and "superior strength and durability". Poor follow-up, unrealistic additional costs and unreasonable claims about us as customers mean that I advise everyone not to buy an awning from this company. If you value security, good service and the right to complain, you should look elsewhere.
NOTE!! Fasadeprodukter, Kjells Markiser and Markisemannen are all the same company under HD Solskjerming. I had 4 sellers on site with me. Found out afterwards that 3 of them were from the same company. Is this even legal?! So in reality I only had 2 players who gave me a price quote. As soon as you have signed with the seller, ALL further communication goes to HD Solskjerming. They only have email and are wrong as hell. Ordered an order for about 100,000 in February. Then the seller had taken the wrong measurements. Didn't get the products and installation until after the summer in September... Did I get any compensation? Yes, I got 2000, on an order of 100 sheets.... Damn I spent more than that on AC that summer. Steer clear of HD Solskjerming with Fasadeprodukter, Kjells Markiser and Markisemannen
The fitters arrived after a lot of fuss, but when they did they were nice and efficient guys. Vegar and his assistant were pleasant people who knew their stuff.
TERRIFYING aftermarket handling! Despite countless reminders, I have now waited over a month for my complaint to be resolved, and I still don't know when this will be resolved. This is a rogue company that you should stay away from.
Pleasant and good salesman who knows what he's talking about. (Knut Morten Stokke) The fitter arrived on time and did a good job. The fitter was unlucky and got a scratch on the front panel. Submitted a discrepancy and it was fixed within two weeks. Very satisfied!
