Super satisfied! Agreed on a fixed price, experienced good communication along the way as changes were made. Used for all the electrical work during a complete bathroom renovation.
I have used the company for a small kitchen job. They appeared very honest in advance of the job and also during the execution. I reacted to the invoice afterwards where I was invoiced for services I was not informed about in advance - including the extra cost of using an apprentice. In addition, I was informed that El Focus itself does not stand for the guarantee on the work performed if something happens afterwards, but they disclaim responsibility and pass it on to a carpentry company that was also involved in the execution of the job when this company was contacted at the outset to carry out the job. Hiring craftsmen is primarily about ensuring a safe and well-executed job, also if something arises afterwards. Here I think El Focus unfortunately falls short.
I place great importance on clear communication, predictability and orderliness when purchasing craftsman services. Unfortunately, this case has been the opposite. A disagreement arose about costs that were invoiced afterwards, and which were not clearly communicated or agreed upon in advance. When this was raised, my experience was that the focus was more on explaining or distributing responsibility further, rather than going into the specific objections and finding a practical solution. The most disappointing thing is not necessarily the amount itself, but the way the matter has been handled. When a customer questions the basis for the invoice, I expect to meet openness, documentation and a willingness to find a solution. Instead, the communication has appeared evasive and not very constructive. For me, professionalism is about more than performing a craft. It is also about being clear about costs, being responsible for your own assessments and handling objections in an orderly manner when they arise. It is in this area in particular that I believe the company has fallen short. I cannot therefore recommend the company based on my experience, and would encourage other customers to ensure that all costs, surcharges and assumptions are specified in writing before the work begins.
We have used Elfocus for several electrical projects in connection with the renovation of a house from 1960. Throughout the entire process we have been very satisfied with both the quality of the work and the communication. They have been professional, reliable and easy to work with. Recommended!
Very happy with the job they did. The electrician arrived at the agreed time and brought all the necessary equipment and tools. Troubleshooted and found and fixed the fault. I had "lost" power to one bedroom in an old apartment. In addition, I had problems with an old thermostat for the heating cables in the bathroom. The whole job took less than 2 hours. Can really recommend them further
