We are very satisfied with the work that Byggmester Hofstad AS carried out when we renovated the bathroom and laundry room, as well as redecorating our hallway. It was important for us to avoid coordinating the process, and this was well taken care of by the project manager. As the work took place over a couple of months, we also greatly appreciated that the craftsmen were friendly and accommodating. The work was carefully carried out and the result was good. Byggmester Hofstad AS has a collective agreement, which is of course also important in terms of arranging pay and working conditions.

Very happy with Hofstad. Total renovation of bathroom with moving the door into the bathroom. Nice people with very good craftsmen who know their trade. Good price, they also completed the assignment faster than estimated. Then they had also been given an additional assignment to lay plasterboard + fill the bedroom along the way. So we highly recommend Hofstad😊

We used Byggmester Hofstad AS this spring to expand a veranda, raise and extend a ground terrace and set up a retaining wall with a window + various other things in connection with this. The result exceeded all expectations! We had good dialogue from Vegard who was on an inspection to carpenter Morten and project manager Stefan who took over and carried out the project - I would especially like to highlight Morten who has done an excellent job and delivers a really nice result in terms of craftsmanship - steady, tidy and on time at the agreed price. Stefan organizes and makes sure that this runs smoothly. Invoices continuously as agreed and according to progress on the project. Builder Hofstad has repaired old frame work, re-insulated and helped us with contemporary cladding and window placement and detailing as Byantikvaren wanted. It has been a very good process all the way from visual inspection to finished project. The craftsmen arrived punctually at 0700 every day and worked diligently and accurately and with great respect for their own professions and not least us as customers. We have had good dialogue all the way and have experienced flexibility and always a willingness to find the best solutions that ensure durability and the right aesthetics. Throughout the process, Hofstad has invited both insulation suppliers to find the right solution, and also invited us on a trip to the sawmill that delivered old, densely grown spruce, planed and in its original dimensions. They gave us space so that we could paint with linseed oil paint. We are impressed by the accuracy, efficiency and work ethic, and have had a very pleasant collaboration with Marvin, who was the daily construction manager, and with Stefan, who was the project manager. We would like to give them our best recommendations! We are attaching some pictures from the work.

ALWAYS SET A DAKMULKT (DAILY FINE) IN YOUR CONTRACT!!! A partial renovation of a bathroom that turned into a nightmare with no almost no rights on my side, water running inside my house walls (this last mentioned horror was not really on Byggmester Hofstad AS, but electricians hired by them). Most of the issues fixed by my house insurance, but the company rectified a series of mistakes made by Byggmester Hofstad AS plumbers 3 months after the delivery date, only after several threats of legal action. The most terrible things were: - Me being accused of breaking things that I never touched - Problem with their installation blamed on my house plumbing (revealed FALSE by the insurance, that found somebody did drill a hole in the plumbing, error admitted by electricians hired through Byggmester Hofstad AS) - Problem with their installation blamed on my house water supply, after their own plumber confirmed it was not the case (revealed FALSE by their own work, problem fixed changing a faucet) Given that there was no daily fine included in the contract, I have no right to compensation, so make SURE you have a DAILY FINE included in your contract, with ANY contractor that is supposed to do anything more than the simplest job.
