High quality gym with great equipment and personel!
Great gym 💪👍
Absolutely one of the best gyms I’ve trained at in Norway! The equipment is top-tier – especially for strength training and powerlifting. You’ll find everything from high-quality racks and platforms and specialty bars. The staff is very friendly and also very knowledgeable and supportive. You really feel that they care about the training environment and the athletes who train here. Highly recommended for anyone serious about lifting – whether you're local or just passing through Trondheim! 💪
The gym in selsbakk is super dirty, on the time I was training there, they didn’t have regular routine on cleaning or maintenance, all the equipment are damage, the sponges are old and broken, nobody organise the weight, is always a mess everywhere, many machines are broken or repaired not in proper way, the cardio room is a shame, whit old noisy machine, the music is free service, many time you are obligated to listen someone else loud music taste, the shower is just for display, in not share for gender, every one should take a shower in the same room not proper warm in winter, if you cancel your subscription if still have to pay one more month, what a shame for a that big disservice
Staff is friendly and very available (on the phone someone is reachable at almost all hours), and the gym is fairly well stocked with equipment. However, the place is cramped/tightly set up with racks/etc, so it can be uncomfortable with people milling about close and right next to you or passing by with their things. Parking is usually fine/a non-issue. Recommend asking for a guided walk-through of the gym/area. They had some troubles (bad timing with when I signed up, probably) that left me with time consuming administrative work. Several phone calls sorting out the aftermath from missing invoices after they changed systems in November 2021. Hopefully that was just a one-time hiccup, but it is not a warm welcome having to call agencies clearing things up just because the gym changed systems soon after I joined.
