I am very dissatisfied with the handling of the case. I experienced a lack of information along the way, and only gained insight into important matters after I made contact myself. I also disagree with the assessments that have been made, especially when it comes to how the situation between the owners was presented, and how documentation that I believe was relevant was assessed. Based on my experience, the process appears to be inefficient, and I have little confidence in the outcome. I would therefore not recommend this company.

Really rude and nasty lawyer I spoke to. No friendliness there.

Unfortunately, this was the worst professional experience I have had with a lawyer in Norway. The firm was hired to appeal a Forliksrådet judgment. They initially advised against proceeding with the appeal, arguing that it would require introducing information that had not been disclosed during the original Forliksrådet proceedings. Based on my prior experience with appeals that were successful, I disagreed with this interpretation, but that was not the main issue. Instead, the firm proposed initiating a new Forliksrådet case that would include all relevant information from the outset. As the appeal deadline was approaching, I explicitly warned them that filing a new case could risk dismissal due to the principle of “samme krav” (same claim). My concern was dismissed. When all the documentation for the new case had been prepared and the appeal deadline had expired, the firm then refused to proceed — citing the exact same “samme krav” issue that I had previously raised. When I pointed out that I had warned them about this procedural risk, I was told they could not guarantee the outcome and that I should seek another lawyer. At no point was I informed in a timely or consistent manner about the strategic risks involved. The handling of the matter led to the loss of the appeal window and left me without effective legal representation. This experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional.

Acts outright condescending and unprofessional towards those they are suing. The contracts look like something a 9th grader could write on an exam and have more holes than Swiss cheese.
