Very satisfied! I called Prorør while I was abroad and they came quickly and fixed the problem in my house. The job was done quickly and at a very good price. Professional and reliable – you can trust this company. Recommended!
Highly qualified professionals, and very accommodating. Recommended!
We received help with both the dishwasher and the bathtub, and are very happy with the work that was done. The plumber provided good service, arrived quickly and was both efficient and pleasant. Everything was done properly and on time. Highly recommended!
They spent 15 minutes on the job itself (from arrival to return) plus 3 km of driving. Invoice for the tidy sum of NOK 8,745. Quote (unfortunately only on the phone) was NOK 2,600/hour including car/equipment and 1 person. Not sure if 1 more was necessary There is a saying that goes ‘either you succeed or you learn’. What I have learned is 1) always get a quote in writing; 2) never use Pro Rør (Trondheim) for smaller plumbing jobs as their minimum price in practice is NOK 9,000. The bill is what is called in good Norwegian ‘price creep’—a characteristic of practices by players who are not serious and therefore do not stay in the market for long.
After renovating our bathroom, we are left with a very bad impression of Prorør AS. We renovated our bathroom in the fall and chose Prorør AS as our plumbing company after a pleasant inspection. Unfortunately, we have experienced the cooperation and contact as unprofessional, especially in retrospect of the work performed. We reported various errors and deficiencies to Sigurd Steen (performer of the work and general manager of the company). The plumbing was installed incorrectly so that the hot water was reduced to below 50% capacity, where the plumber was not very solution-oriented, which resulted in us having to call in a carpenter to make very simple adjustments. This resulted in extra costs, organization and work for us as a customer. He did not install a water trap under the sink and failed to install a safety valve on the plumbing, used white glue between black surfaces where the glue is visible, did not grout the necessary contact points, etc. In addition, there have been noises in the pipe system/drain after his work, which the plumber cannot be held responsible for or has been able to fix. Not only that, we had to pay full price for his work. Fortunately, the company came back to install both the water trap and the safety valve, which is expected. We feel that the plumber has tried to take advantage of us with cheap and quick solutions. Despite the shortcomings and errors during the work, it is the way we are met as a customer that ruins our overall impression of Prorør AS. The communication in between has been rude, unprofessional and unfriendly, both via messages and phone calls. Therefore, I advise against using this company.
