I divide real estate agents into agents and doormen. At Propertica, I worked with Kamil, the doorman. All he could do was open the door and charge a fortune for it. From the beginning: Terrible communication. I took time off work to go to the pre-agreed signing of the preliminary agreement, arranged by the agent... turns out... it wasn't the right Tuesday... Any notifications about the meeting via text or email? Forget it! Getting the paperwork right? Not knowing what documents were needed, sending some expired ones. Then there was the hassle of dealing with them at the bank, delays in the transaction. Lack of expertise with the documents. Next step: Signing the notarial deed – the notary, on the agency's recommendation. I received no information about what documents I should prepare for the deed. I don't remember ever having such a poor atmosphere during the signing of the notarial deed. They wouldn't refund the reservation agreement fee (it went towards the payment, but that wasn't what we agreed). The final act of this embarrassment was the "agent" failing to show up for the property transfer. I don't recommend them; they're a complete sham and incompetent. Look for counteroffers.
