I made the mistake of putting an offer on a home in Braga through Zome and severely regretted it due to severe ethical lapses and disregard for clients. There was water damage from a leaky roof, a beetle infestation, lights that didn’t work, and warped closets that wouldn’t close properly, but the location was lovely and they seemed to be addressable problems, so I put an offer on the table that a third-party reputable dealer said was market rate, with the only condition that the problems be fixed before move-in. I later learned that not only did the seller agent represent Zome, but that the buyer’s agent (who took advantage of my lack of understanding of Portuguese real estate laws and the buyer agent lock-in) was employed by Zome, and the owner of the property? He was the owner of Zome! And the Zome buyer’s agent tried to sell me on his side-hustle repair business! We didn’t come to an agreement, naturally, based largely on the promise that “the home was under warranty, which covers any problems”, but… I actually came back over a year later to notice the problems hadn’t been fixed, and they arrogantly declared that they were able to use it as a short-term rental (despite it not being certified for AL, suggesting a skirting of the law) and they actually RAISED the price later, despite the problems and fact that it had been on the market for years. Not only that, but I came back a year later to re-tour the property only to discover they hadn’t fixed several of the problems, including the non-working shower in the master bedroom! My experience with Zome was a lesson in the complete lack of business ethics on the part of the company, and I’d highly encourage any potential customer considering their services steer well clear of their unethical, market-manipulating, problem-hiding tactics.

Can't really say much. We contacted them to find a place for a business. We had detailed specifications when it came to size, price and function (ie license, natural gas etc.) and we provided them to the company. They said they would get back to us. They never did. Only after I called them, they said that they had something for us, which did not even meet most of our criteria. Very unprofessional, stay away. Nowadays there are a ton of real estate agencies. The way they work on first contact really makes me glad I did not venture any further with them.
