AVOID THIS COMPANY.<br><br>MMF was recommended by a friend, but unfortunately my experience was one of the worst contractor experiences I have had.<br><br>The problems started before installation. When a technician came to confirm the quote and installation conditions, I specifically asked whether the bedroom units would fit above the bedroom doors. I sent photos to the office and discussed it directly with the technician. I was told there would be no problem.<br><br>There was a problem. Once installation began, it became clear that the vents would hit the bedroom doors when opened. Another company had previously suggested a smaller unit might be necessary, but MMF did not identify the issue until the units had already been unpacked and partially installed. At that point, changing models was no longer possible. The final solution was to remove the bottom vent, leaving a result that looks improvised and far from ideal.<br><br>The installation then encountered difficulties related to the apartment's pre-installation. I do not necessarily blame MMF for those issues. However, I agreed to pay an additional €270 because I was told their senior technician, Alexandre, would use his expertise to resolve the complications.<br><br>One major issue involved the living room condensate drain. I was repeatedly told the drain line could not be found and had likely been routed to an internal bathroom drain. After several visits and no resolution, I investigated myself (with help of a contractor) and found the drain outlet on my balcony right next to the other lines leading to the outdoor unit. Alexandre hadn't bothered to properly investigate the situation. The drain was simply clogged with paint left behind during the original pre-installation. I cleared it myself and solved the problem. Prior to that, MMF had repeatedly suggested that opening concrete walls would be needed.<br><br>Later, because of a sag ("barriga") in the bedroom drain lines, I asked MMF to install condensate pumps. This required multiple visits because the pumps were initially installed without a required valve. When problems continued, I was initially told the issue was in my walls rather than the installation. Only after I insisted that they return and correctly complete the installation was the problem resolved. With help of Gemini and simply reading the pump instructions, something the tech didn't bother during the initial install as well as on the return visits to fix the pump install (I had to correct the order of parts after he had tried the first time to install the valves). Even after I had sent them Gemini's suggestions and the pump instructions, they had insisted they had done their job properly (until I finally convinced them to come back).<br><br>Beyond the technical issues, communication and customer service were extremely frustrating. Three appointments were cancelled only after I had already spent hours waiting for the technicians to arrive. Responses from the office were often very slow, and I had to diagnose problems myself (using Gemini) and push for proper solutions. Vast majority of appointments started several hours after the agreed upon time. A couple of extra visits were warranted because they didn't bother bringing necessary equipment with them. Also, a couple of screws used to secure the mounting brackets came loose only after a month and it was because they didn't bother using long enough screws in the first place.<br><br>In total, MMF approved equipment that did not fit the installation space, failed to identify an easily accessible drain line, incorrectly installed condensate pumps, required numerous return visits (it might have been 6 or 7 beyond initial install and things were only fully resolved over 2 months after initial install), recommended unncessary opening of concrete walls, and cancelled multiple appointments at the last minute. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend MMF.<br><br>What will be telling is if they respond in a manner that shows they acknowledge their mistakes and try to learn from them, or if they try to just blame the pre-installation.

má experiência... depois de adjudicar o serviço, agendamos a marcação. no dia anterior à marcação informaram que afinal não conseguiam estar às 09h da manhã, se podiam vir à tarde (18h)<br>ao final da tarde indicaram que também não iriam conseguir vir e sugeriram agendamento para daqui a 1 semana.<br>não se pode confiar neste serviço, lamentável.<br>não recomendo.
