I hired Pinturas Portugal for their Premium Plan, which was supposed to include senior painters, proper wall preparation (sanding, filler, primer), and careful crack repair with mesh. The price was significantly higher than most other quotes, but I chose them because they promised professional, durable results. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The painters who arrived did not appear to be the experienced team that was promised. One painter admitted he was a contractor subcontracting the work to others, including workers with little painting experience. Surface preparation was minimal in most rooms, cracks were quickly filled with putty instead of reinforced with mesh, and the painting quality was poor—visible drips, uneven coverage, and marks from dirty rollers. Dust from sanding was left throughout the apartment without proper cleaning, despite requests. Communication between the company and the painters also seemed disorganized, and the agreed scope of work was not clearly understood by the team on site. After four days, the work was still incomplete and of very low quality, so I terminated the project. Very disappointing experience.
My experience with Brendo was great. He has great attention to detail, communicated the entire way through, and he was very professional. The newly painted walls look great and I definitely highly recommend his painting services.
The platform required photos and videos instead of an on-site inspection to assess the job and provide a quotation. After I accepted and signed the agreement, they later claimed the on-site conditions were different, even though the site matched the original photos and videos. They refused to acknowledge this, did not send their own inspector, demanded an additional €900, and when I declined, they kept €825 as “internal costs.” Very unfair process and poor customer protection.

Hired these guys and I’m super happy with the result. They did a brilliant job for the store’s metal bridge. Would highly recommend them and will use them again for future jobs.
