We are doing a minor kitchen remodel that involves replacing a gas cooktop with induction. The day after the gas cooktop was removed, we discovered our tankless water heater was not working. I contacted Paul at urgent plumber.pt via WhatsApp and he was so helpful. He called me gave suggestions to try to make it work before coming out. When that didn’t work, he asked me to send a video so he could listen to the water heater to determine if there was a problem with the igniter. He even contacted a representative from the water heater manufacturer. Ultimately I figured out the problem without Paul needing to come out. He was so helpful by phone and WhatsApp, that I’m keeping his contact information for future needs and to give to our English-speaking friends. He kept giving me suggestions to try to save us money before coming out. Truely appreciated.

Ich hatte ein Problem mit dem Wasserzulauf zur Gastherme. Das Wasser lief einfach aus den Ventilen. Ich rief diese diese beiden Helden an und meine Sorgen waren innerhalb ein paar Minuten weg. Diagnose per WhatsApp mit Videos und Fotos. Eine sehr schnelle Terminvereinbarung. In meinem Fall kamen Paul und Rome noch am gleichen Tag. Es waren keine vier Stunden vergangen. Zudem wohne ich in einer schwer zugänglichen (Touristen)Gegend in Lissabon. Selbst zu Fuß kamen sie die letzten paar hundert Meter zu mir. Nach erledigter Arbeit tropfte es auf einmal an einer anderen Stelle., obwohl Paul schon unterwegs war, kam er nochmal zurück und kümmerte sich auch darum.<br>Ich kann nur sagen: Sorry Jungs. ***I do not usually leave reviews, but Paul and Urgent Plumber really deserve one!!***<br><br>I wish Paul had been my first call, not my fourth!<br><br>The problem:<br>We had a toilet issue that kept coming back despite 3 visits and different attempts to fix it from other plumbers.<br>Eventually, both the toilet and shower started backing up with sewer water.<br><br>The real fix:<br>Paul brought the right technology to diagnose the problem. Down went a video camera into the drains, and he found the blockage that had been missed before. He got it all cleared out and removed the waste material.<br><br>The difference:<br>It finally felt like someone had found the real cause of the problem instead of just treating the symptoms.<br><br>True professional:<br>Paul responded quickly, got us scheduled as soon as possible, arrived on time, and was professional and easy to work with.<br><br>Everything has been working great since.
