Our experience with Goldcrest has been superb at every level. First, Barbara in Lisbon met with us to discuss the buying process. She listened and took our needs into consideration. She introduced us to our agent in Porto, Robert. Robert started right away by getting our portal setup and making recommendations based on our requirements. He kept us up to date on new listings and gave his honest opinion about neighborhoods and details of the prospective apartments. Robert visited a number of properties on our behalf facilitating virtual visits as well as taking video for us. A few weeks later when we arrived in Porto for our scouting tour, we were able to view our top pick the day after arriving, provide a deposit and the process started. Robert and Barbara were able to introduce us to a local lawyer who has been invaluable in representing our interests and ensuring all of the paperwork was done correctly the first time. Our whole family really enjoyed working with Robert. He was very friendly, patient and professional. He helped us with restaurant recommendations and gave us tips on how to really enjoy Porto. Our family considers him our first friend in Porto, and he really put our minds at ease as we started this momentous change.

We highly recommend Goldcrest. We needed to sign a lease as part of our Visa requirements, but were unable to visit Lisbon at the time. Eunice was fantastic at finding us a beautiful, affordable apartment that met all of our needs (including having three pets!). The process was made a whole lot less stressful with her help. She was wonderful to work with. We also needed help setting up utilities, phone and Internet at our new apartment, while we were still living in the US. I highly recommend Goldcrest without any hesitation. We decided to invest in a real estate project in Portugal in late 2022 and met with Enrique Arcay by Zoom to go over our criteria. Within a week he had put together a portfolio of excellent opportunities to review. One particular aspect that stands out is the vetting that had already occurred on the projects we reviewed. I recall asking about projects in a particular town and Enrique informed me that there were projects there, but none that they would recommend I put money into. We quickly identified the right project and had the investment secured within weeks. Fast forward to April 2025, construction was completed, and I couldn't travel to perform the final inspection for deed transfer. No problem as Enrique was willing and able to help me with a video tour. Working with Enrique and Goldcrest has been a great experience.
