Worst experience ever with Bricko. I bought a door from them, and before purchasing, I asked about the delivery and installation cost. The staff told me it would be around €120 for a simple door, but if the door size was slightly larger, it could go up to €200. I agreed with that, and they said a technician would visit my home the next day to take measurements. Two weeks passed — no one showed up, and I called many times but got no response. I finally went back to the store (which is far from my house), and they apologized, saying they could come now to take measurements and that the installation could be done on October 23rd — 45 days later. Even though the wait was long, I agreed. After 45 days, I went again to confirm the installation date because I didn’t trust their promises. Once again, they said they couldn’t come and postponed it another 15 days. To make things worse, they suddenly said the installation would cost €500 for a simple door! I reminded them that they had originally quoted €120–€200, but they refused to honor it. I asked for a refund. This has been the worst experience ever — three months wasted with endless excuses, no clear communication, and no proper service. Even after that, they didn’t provide the quotation on time, and I had to keep visiting the store again and again just to get basic information.
Similar to a Canadian tires or home depot, but without the garden, plants area. They do have a very small patio, pool and BBQ tent in the parking lot.
Such a convenient shop, you can find everything you need there ☺️
Brico Depôt Gaia is still another option for us to buy materials for our construction. Normally, we compare prices online before going here. You can place your order online and pick it up at the store or send it to your house by additional shipping fee. Pros 1. They have a big space with many options of construction materials. 2. They have return policy as well with terms and conditions applied. 3. Payment in cash or multibanco. 4. They replaced traditional cashier with self payment machine for payment in cards. It is ready to use and confusing in the beginning. Cons 1. Lack of staff to ask about some products.
An absolute lack of consideration for customer service. I brought them back a damaged item still inside the return policy and they invited me to contact the brands assistance. This store is the perfect example on how to permanently lose a customer who before that, spent thousands of euro in their store.
