We needed some emulsion. Nothing fancy. Staff member was nice enough but maybe a little impatient. Maybe prefers to deal with trade experts. We had to sign up for an account (although I'm sure we got something here before). 1.5l of paint cost us £44! That is insane to me! I'm sure it's good quality but that's so much! Just paid so we could get the job done but I'm so shocked at that price!
The staff here are excellent, especially Laurie who greeted me with a friendly smile and was above and beyond helpful. It is conveniently located on the local 727 and 23 bus routes and their pricing and range of decorating tools and materials is great. I saw several tradesmen collecting paints, etc. so they are doing something right for the pros as well as being kind and helpful to us amateurs. Well done Laurie and team.
A big thumbs up for Lee who served me. I was looking for a tester pot size of Fireside red paint and some filling plaster shortly after the Christmas holidays. His attitude, approach, assistance and genuinely friendly nature were second to none. Well done Lee!
