I was not a tenant or landlord but had the misfortune to have dealings with their property sales people. Despite multiple attempts to get them to pay me a couple of hundred pounds that they owed me they did not respond, that despite visiting the office on a number of occasions and also emails and phone calls. Highly unprofessional I would not recommend dealing with Belvoir Aberdeen.
The team at Belvoir Aberdeen were absolutely wonderful to deal with, they quickly we able to assist us in finding a rental apartment when we first moved to Aberdeen from Australia and get us settled in quickly they were always prompt with responses when urgent matters needed to be attended to such as our broken washing machine and a leaky boiler. Would recommend anyone to stop in and discuss rentals with them Jenni and Ann, you are champions
Another company abusing paying tenants. I left this flat cleaner than I found it, and it was agreed by safetydepositscotland that i was left in a cleaner state but still Belvior managed to squeeze £70 out of me for a professional deep clean..... They will try to take away your deposit for leaving a hair in the bathroom and fragments of fluff on the floor. Meanwhile they will happily let you move into the flat containing mold, just look at the pictures. Furthermore the agent Skylar confirmed on phone that there was no problems with the flat and only minior cleaning needed done and I would get my deposit back soon. I spent hours cleaning before moving out, would of lost all my deposit if i left it as "clean" as they had it when moving in. Be aware and get as many pictures and evidence and email transcipts as you can. They will try to take your money regardless.
I had to move at very short notice and Belvoir staff have been very helpful throughout the leasing process, especially Lisa, who helped me when we ran into any bumps along the way. £250 deposit to reserve a property is also quite reasonable, considering some of the other letting agents in the city ask for the full month's or more. I'd recommend them highly! So far, so good!
We were tenants with Belvoir Aberdeen for 2.5 years and were always extremely satisfied with their services. The renting process was professional and easy and any issues we encountered in the flat (which was very rare) were dealt with quickly and effectively.
